It is a perfect match and a cherry on the cake to your ProLite Nussbaum shellkit, but combines just as well with any other drum kit no matter the brand or finish.
This Prolite snare has a 6 ply / 4 mm thick cross laminated maple shell with 3 ply / 2 mm thick reinforcement hoops and it's measuring 14x6" and is fully handmade in Germany. It has ten Sonor TuneSafe double lugs, Steel Power Hoops and Sonor Dual Glide throw off. Within the development process of all drums, Sonor spends extra time closely fine tuning dimensions vs materials; a process they call Optimum Shell Measurements (OSM). For example, Sonor shells are slightly smaller in diameter than the specified size, allowing the heads to resonate optimally.
