The Sonor AQ2 SDS 12x5" Steel is a very affordable compact snare drum.
Great as an extra addition to your normal snare. It is made of 1mm thick steel with a sleek chrome finish.
This snare performs very well in higher tunings and the sound of the steel shell cuts nicely through the mix.
Measuring 12x5 inches it features 2.3mm Power Hoops, Sonor AQ Double Lugs and Sonor's TuneSafe system.
