The legend! The snare that can be heard on many hit recordings,brought back by request in the 1990s, this classic 14x6.5 Chrome Over Brass Supraphonic snare is a reissue of the legendary Brass 400 model from 1959-61, known as the "Super Ludwig."
Manufactured in the USA, this chrome over brass snare gives a bright, crispy attack with a perfect balance of resonance and snare crack. Multi-purpose in the studio and on stage, this snare can be used for any genre.
This snare has a 1.2 mm thick, chrome-plated, seamless brass shell, finished with 10 tube lugs, triple-flanged tension edges and a P88AC throw-off.
