The snare drum featured on countless hit recordings—brought back by popular demand in the 1990s—is this classic 14x6.5 Chrome Over Brass Supraphonic snare drum—a reissue of the legendary Brass 400 model from 1959–61, known as the “Super Ludwig.” This U.S.-made chrome-over-brass snare delivers a bright, crisp attack with a perfect balance between resonance and snare crack. This snare is versatile in the studio and on stage, and can be used for any genre. This snare drum features a 1.2 mm thick, chrome-plated, seamless brass shell, finished with 10 tube lugs, triple-flanged hooping, and a P88AC throw-off.
