With nearly 100 years of experience in manufacturing copper timpani, Ludwig introduces the latest addition to its U.S.-made snare drum series: the Copper Phonic. This snare drum delivers powerful volume, combined with excellent focus and a dark, low tonal character. As such, the Copper Phonic is the latest addition to Ludwig’s signature Phonic sound palette. This “Raw Patina” finish is our favorite; the patina treatment gives the snare a beautiful aged look, and combined with the traditional Imperial Lugs, this is truly a gem of a snare drum!
