The Ludwig 14x08 Classic Maple Slotted Coliseum consists of a 7-ply shell in a new 10-lug construction, a configuration not previously available on Slotted Coliseum models. This construction provides more stable tuning and strengthens the drum's midrange, resulting in a richer and better-balanced sound with added resonance. The Classic Maple version is finished with the durable Poly-Glass lacquer finish, which provides a deep shine and excellent protection.shine and excellent protection.
