The Ludwig 14x08 Classic Maple Slotted Coliseum features a 7-ply shell in a new 10-lug design, a configuration that was not previously available on the Slotted Coliseum models. This construction ensures more stable tuning and enhances the drum’s midrange, resulting in a richer and better-balanced sound with added resonance. The Classic Maple model is finished with the durable Poly-Glass coating, which provides a deep gloss and excellent protection.
