Just like the beech snare, this brass version measures 13x5.75". Slightly unusual (small) dimensions, but don’t be fooled—this snare drum is a real powerhouse! Above all, it has a very rich tone and is extremely well-balanced. A new feature for both Greb snares is the pair of internal dampers that can be positioned independently against the head using the functional monorails. This allows you to very precisely control the dryness of this snare. Hooray! Internal dampers are useful again!
The 1.2 mm thick “vintage brass” shell has an amazing “burnt” look, and the offset Sonor Vintage lugs complete the picture.
