Sonor Kompressor 14x5.75" Aluminium

This Kompressor snare drum features a 2mm-thick aluminum shell measuring 14x5.75", 10 Sonor TuneSafe double lugs, Steel Power Hoops, and a Sonor standard throw-off. As part of the development process for all its drums, Sonor devotes extra time to meticulously fine-tuning dimensions in relation to materials—a process they call Optimum Shell Measurements (OSM). As a result, Sonor shells are slightly smaller in diameter than the specified size, allowing the heads to resonate optimally. This gives the 5.75" deep aluminum shell its characteristic dry tone with ample attack, crispness, and stick definition. An amazing snare drum for a more traditional, old-school sound.
