The Ludwig LB464R Raw Brass Phonic snare drum features a 1 mm thick raw brass shell, which provides a powerful and rich sound. The drum features 2.3 mm triple-flanged tension edges, contributing to an open and responsive sound.
With its hefty sound projection and wide vocal range, this snare is suitable for a variety of musical styles. Thanks to the lugs, you have optimal control over the overtones and maintain excellent tuning.
The snare has a diameter of 14 inches and a depth of 6.5 inches. It comes standard with Ludwig Weather Master drum heads: a Medium Coated batter head and a Clear Snare Side resonance head.
