The Ludwig LB464R Raw Brass Phonic snare drum features a 1 mm-thick, raw brass shell, which delivers a powerful and rich sound. The drum features 2.3 mm triple-flanged hoops, which contribute to an open and responsive sound. With its strong sound projection and wide tuning range, this snare is suitable for a wide variety of musical styles. Thanks to the lugs, you have optimal control over the overtones, and the tuning holds up exceptionally well. This snare drum has a diameter of 14 inches and a depth of 6.5 inches. It comes standard with Ludwig Weather Master drumheads: a Medium Coated batter head and a Clear Snare Side resonant head.
