Sonor Kompressor 14x08" Aluminium

This Kompressor snare drum features a 2mm-thick aluminum shell measuring 14x8", ten Sonor TuneSafe lugs, Steel Power Hoops, and a Sonor standard throw-off. During the development process for all its drums, Sonor spends extra time meticulously fine-tuning dimensions in relation to materials—a process they call Optimum Shell Measurements (OSM). As a result, Sonor shells are slightly smaller in diameter than the specified size, allowing the heads to resonate optimally. This gives the 8" deep aluminum shell its characteristic dry tone with plenty of body, punch, and stick definition. An incredible snare drum for a more traditional, old-school sound.
