Looking for a snare drum to practice on? A main snare? Or 2nd snare for your drum kit? Look no further! This Sonor SQ2 14x5.5" steel snare and 2000 snare stand will get you started perfectly. This starter kit is complete with snare stand (Sonor SS 2000) and rubber practice pad.
This practice pad is simple, but very handy and multifunctional; the pad has a thickened center dot and thus gives with respect to the outer edge a different feel and bounce. You can place the practice pad in front of you on a table, but because it is exactly 14" in diameter, it will also fit exactly on the snare drum if necessary. It then functions simultaneously as a dampening mat but you also get a little sound from the strings. That's good practice!
