The Starclassic Performer series attracted much attention in 2023 with the limited Crimson Red Waterfall finish. Now the series unveils the 2025 limited finish: Green Grove Aurora. Each bowl features a striking vertical stripe pattern, hand-painted by our experienced craftsmen, making for a truly unique design. Layering different shades of green creates a deep color reminiscent of a sacred forest. Combined with black nickel hardware, the finish takes on a dark, mysterious look that gives the entire kettle character.
The Starclassic is Tama's absolute modern classic. In several variants and versions and constantly evolving itself, the Starclassic has been the professional standard in drums since the mid-1990s. Several years ago, the hybrid Birch / Bubinga Starclassic Performer B/B was unexpectedly removed from the program due to issues with sourcing Bubinga. A huge loss, as this was a THICK of a high quality mid-range set. Fortunately, the Starclassic Performer is now back and this time with a hybrid shell of birch and maple.
