The Prolite metal snare drum collection is all about the pro drummer; no bling-bling, just tone and the highest quality you can get on the drum market.
The 14x6" Prolite Brass definitely stands out of the crowd; as robust and "heavy" as it feels it is rich and complex in tone. With its brass shell and powerful die-cast hoops, it sounds remarkably dry and dark, almost "woody"! A real characteristic all-rounder that is not just loud. Nice!
Its 6" depth gives it a fat bottom end, and the Dual Glider System allows you to precisely adjust the degree of snare-rattle. This unique strainer allows you to detach the snare wires from both the strainer and butt-end sides, so you can easily replace the wires withouth having to readjust the tension. Plus; both ends of the strainer can be tension-adjusted.
The Sonor Dual Lugs feature TuneSafe gaskets that keep the bolts locked in place; with this Prolite snare, you'll be playing night after night without having to worry about detuning issues during your set.
